Ternopil State Medical University

Ternopil National Medical University was founded in the year of 12th April 1957. The University located in the city of Ternopil in Ukraine. It was established by the orders of the Ukrainian govt, after the Second World War, from the ruins, the university got named as Ternopil Medical Institute.
Later, on 1st July 1992, the institute was named after Ivan Horbachevsky to honor and honor his contribution and efforts to the field of medicine, primarily biochemistry. On the date of 30th December 1997, the university was honored with the status of a State Medical Academy and then it is named as I. Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical Academy. Furthermore, on 17th November 2004, the university was recognized by the title of State Medical University and it is popularly called I.H.Ternopil State Medical University.
The University developed programs, courses, and facilities as it grew year by year, but the biggest development started after Ukraine has got its independence in the year 1991. Later, in the year 1994, TSMA received the 4th level of recognition from the government of Ukrainian and is counted among the premier medical universities of Ukraine. By each passing year, year by year TSMU became more independent and launched offering new courses in nursing, pharmacy, medicine, and many other subjects. At present, over 1500 students from almost 50 different countries are enrolled in the university.

The University providing hostel facilities for international students. There are two buildings in the University for Academic as well as lab facilities. The students are accommodated within the campus in two colossal buildings, the hostel rooms offer all the necessary facilities to the students. 24*7 water facility, laundry, hot water, etc.
