Ivano Frankivsk National Medical University is one of the oldest and top leading medical universities for MBBS/MD education in Ukraine. The University was founded in the year of 1945. In April 2009, about 796 international students were enrolled in 24 countries.
All the academic programs and study syllabus of the University are approved by the Ministry of Education & Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Medical Degrees and diplomas issued to International students by the College of Ivano Frankivsk National Medical University are legalized by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The university is recognized by the MCI& WHO. Who studied medicine in this university that Indian students will be eligible to practice in India. Subject to clearing all the steps and formalities including the screening test. Indian students going to Ukraine traditionally performed well in the MCI Screening Test.

Ivano Frankivsk National Medical University facilitated Hostel rooms with all basic facilities. The University offers three huge spacious hostel buildings with a capacity of over 2000 more students. These rooms are fully furnished equipped with the reading halls, sports room, library, and stadium and health center.
The University management system of IFNMU, strongly believes that the students should actively participate in extracurricular activities and sports activities simultaneously with their studies so that they can remain active & fit, even when they are pursuing their studies.
